The adventure begins with a 1:30 PM pick-up from your resort, and from there, you’ll head directly to the Miraflores Visitor Center, one of the most famous attractions in Panama. Here, you’ll watch the incredible IMAX film narrated by Morgan Freeman, which brings the history, construction, and importance of the Panama Canal to life. After the film, step outside to witness massive ships as they pass through the canal’s locks right before your eyes, a truly impressive experience that demonstrates the canal’s engineering marvels.
Following the canal visit, the tour continues to the Amador Causeway, a scenic stretch of road offering stunning views of the Panama City skyline and the Pacific entrance to the canal. Along the way, you’ll pass the Biomuseo, a striking museum designed by Frank Gehry that showcases Panama’s incredible biodiversity and natural history. You’ll also see the former U.S. Military Fort, a reminder of Panama’s strategic importance and historical ties with the United States. The Causeway itself is the perfect spot to take photos, including the iconic Panama sign, while enjoying the refreshing ocean breeze and panoramic city vistas.
From there, the tour moves on to Casco Antiguo, Panama City’s historic old town. Here, your guide will lead you on a walking tour through charming cobblestone streets lined with beautifully preserved colonial buildings, lively plazas, and hidden corners full of character. Casco Antiguo is the city’s nightlife hub, packed with rooftop bars, cozy lounges, and energetic discos. After an evening filled with culture, history, and entertainment, the tour concludes with a comfortable return to your resort around 9:30 PM, ensuring you get back safely after a full day of unforgettable experiences.
