From Riu Playa Blanca Panama Canal & City Tour

imagen mixta.jpg

Travelers can enjoy a private tour with flexible scheduling, allowing them to explore iconic sites such as the Panama Canal, the historic streets of Casco Viejo, and the scenic Amador Causeway.

Make the most of your day with our Private Panama Canal & City Tour, a full-day experience designed for travelers of all ages and mobility levels. The tour begins with a comfortable 8:30 AM departure from Riu Playa Blanca and returns around 3:30 PM, offering a well-paced and relaxing way to explore the highlights of Panama City without feeling rushed.

Our journey starts with a scenic drive along the Pan-American Highway, transitioning into the capital’s modern skyline as we pass through iconic spots like the Cinta Costera and the bustling Fish Market. Along the way, you’ll get a sense of the city's dynamic blend of modern life and historical charm.

Our first major stop is the historic Casco Antiguo, Panama’s beautifully preserved colonial district. Here, your guide will lead a gentle walking tour through cobblestone streets lined with colorful buildings, historic churches, and vibrant plazas. There will also be time to browse local artisan shops and pick up unique souvenirs.

From there, we head to the picturesque Amador Causeway, a scenic coastal road built from rocks excavated during the construction of the Panama Canal. You’ll have the chance to take memorable photos at the famous Panama sign and enjoy a delicious lunch with ocean and skyline views at a local restaurant (meal not included).

To cap off your cultural adventure, we’ll visit the Miraflores Visitor Center at the Panama Canal. Here, you’ll enjoy a fascinating IMAX film that tells the story of this engineering marvel, and—if timing allows—witness the awe-inspiring sight of massive ships navigating the locks in real-time. (Entrance fee not included: $17.22 for adults, $7.22 for children.)

This private 8-hour tour combines history, city life, nature, and engineering in one unforgettable day, all while keeping things comfortable and accessible for everyone, with minimal walking and plenty of time to relax between stops.
