Explore Panama’s wildlife and the Panama Canal in one unforgettable day, visiting Monkey Island, enjoying an authentic lunch at a local restaurant, and discovering the famous Miraflores Locks

The tour begins with pickup at 7:00 am directly from Riu Playa Blanca, followed by a comfortable drive toward Panama City and the Panama Canal watershed. We’ll head to Monkey Island, one of the best places near Panama City to experience Panama’s incredible wildlife in its natural environment. During the boat ride, keep your eyes open for capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, tamarins, sloths, toucans, and other tropical wildlife. Our experienced guide will share interesting facts about the animals and the surrounding rainforest.

After our wildlife adventure, we’ll stop at a local Panamanian restaurant where you can relax and enjoy authentic local cuisine. Lunch is not included, giving you the freedom to choose what you would like to eat.

We’ll then continue to the Miraflores Visitor Center, one of the most iconic places to experience the Panama Canal. Watch massive ships pass through the locks and learn how this incredible engineering achievement connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The visitor center also offers panoramic views of the locks and exhibits explaining the history and operation of the Canal.

After experiencing Panama’s wildlife, local flavors, and the engineering marvel of the Panama Canal, we’ll begin our return journey to Riu Playa Blanca, completing a memorable Panama adventure.

How to book this tour?

• Click "Reserve now" and select your date. Our team will review your request and will inform you of the deposit amount to pay. Then we will request a deposit via PayPal or credit card. The remaining balance may be paid in cash to the guide.​

• This is a group or shared tour, so it requires a minimum number of 4 participants.

• If we do not reach the minimum number of participants, we will inform you 24 hours before the tour & will refund the deposit.

• Cancellation can be made 48 hours before the tour date to get a 100% refund of the deposit. Cancellations made after this period are non-refundable due to operational commitments and advance arrangements required for the service.
