ITINERARY
🌿 Step back in time and experience the vibrant traditions of Panama's indigenous Emberá community on our Embera Tribe Express Tour. We depart at 10:30 AM from Plaza Herrera in the historic Old Quarter and enjoy a scenic 1-hour drive to the riverside dock.
Along the way, we pick up fresh local fruits to share. From there, hop aboard a traditional piragua (handmade canoe) for a peaceful ride to the Embera village.
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with healing dances, fascinating cultural insights, and a delicious tilapia and fried plantain lunch prepared by the tribe.
It's an unforgettable cultural immersion packed into a half-day trip. We'll return to the city around 3:30 PM, depending on traffic.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY:
💪 Travelers should have a basic level of physical fitness for this tour.
🛶 You’ll hop aboard a handmade canoe, which may require balance when getting in and out.
🚶♂️ We’ll walk through dirt paths that can be muddy or slippery, especially after rain.
🌧️ Rain is possible, so expect to get a little wet — it's part of the adventure!
🎒 Tip: Wear comfortable shoes with a good grip and bring a poncho just in case (May-Dec rainy season)
