Your private layover adventure begins with a warm welcome and pickup approximately 45 minutes after your flight arrives at Tocumen International Airport (PTY) ✈️.
From there, we’ll take a scenic drive through the beautiful Soberanía National Park 🌿, a lush rainforest just outside the city that's home to an incredible variety of wildlife.
Our journey continues as we board a boat 🚤 and head to the famous Monkey Island 🐒, located within the Panama Canal watershed 🚢. This is a unique opportunity to observe playful monkeys, sloths 🦥 hanging in the trees, and colorful tropical birds 🐦, all in their natural environment. If you're lucky, you might even witness massive ships making their way through the canal — a truly impressive sight 🌊.
After the boat tour, we’ll make our way into Panama City 🏙️, where you’ll have time to enjoy a local meal (not included) 🍽️, stroll through historic areas 🏛️, and learn about the city’s rich cultural and architectural heritage 📚. There will be plenty of opportunities to take unforgettable photos 📸 of the skyline, colonial landmarks, and the vibrant street life that makes Panama City so unique.

To fully enjoy this layover tour, we recommend having a minimum of 8 hours between your flights. This allows enough time for airport pickup, travel to and from the tour locations, the boat ride to Monkey Island, wildlife viewing, and a relaxing drive through Panama City.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: Easy – suitable for all ages and fitness levels. However, the tour is not recommended for babies under 2 years old or for wheelchair users, as participants must be able to board a boat, walk short distances, and navigate staircases comfortably.
