Discover the wild beauty of Panama on a memorable day trip designed especially for cruise ship guests. Your adventure begins at our meeting point at the Subway restaurant, approximately 150 meters from the cruise port entrance in Colon. Look for our guide holding a LAYOVER PANAMA sign, who will welcome you and accompany you on this unforgettable experience. From there, we’ll drive to Soberanía National Park, where we’ll board a covered, fast boat to explore the beautiful waters of the Panama Canal watershed.

As we cruise through the lake, we’ll pass impressive cargo and container ships navigating the Panama Canal and explore small islands inhabited by wild capuchin monkeys, Geoffroy’s tamarins, and howler monkeys. With a little luck, you’ll have the opportunity to observe these fascinating animals up close in their natural habitat. Keep your eyes open for other wildlife, including crocodiles, turtles, iguanas, toucans, and many other tropical bird species.

After our boat adventure, we’ll enjoy a short guided nature walk along Pipeline Road, immersing ourselves in the lush tropical rainforest of Soberanía National Park and discovering Panama’s incredible biodiversity. To round off the experience, we’ll provide a snack bag and refreshing drinks before returning you safely to your cruise ship in Colon.

No lunch stop is scheduled. To maximize our sightseeing time and ensure we return to the port on schedule, we provide bottled water, two pieces of fresh fruit, and 1 juice per person instead of stopping for a full meal.​

To secure your spot, a $25 deposit per person is required via PayPal or credit card. The remaining balance can be paid in US dollars in cash when you meet our guide on the bus.

Cancellation can be made 48 hours before the tour date to get a 100% refund of the deposit. Cancellations made after this period are non-refundable due to operational commitments and advance arrangements required for the service.
