Enjoy a scenic drive through Panama’s beautiful landscapes as you travel to the community and experience a different side of the country, far from the busy cities.

During your visit, you’ll learn about the Embera people’s traditional way of life, their ancestral knowledge, and their deep connection with nature. Experience their traditional music and dances, admire beautiful handmade crafts, and discover their cultural traditions passed down through generations. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about traditional Embera body art made with natural jagua dye, which creates beautiful temporary designs on the skin. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community and gain a deeper appreciation of Panama’s Indigenous heritage.

As part of this authentic cultural experience, you’ll enjoy a traditional lunch featuring fresh river fish and fried plantain, offering a taste of local flavors in a beautiful rainforest setting.

The tour runs from approximately 8:00 AM to 3:00–3:30 PM and combines cultural discovery, traditional cuisine, and the natural beauty of Panama’s tropical rainforest.

Pickup can be arranged from Colón port or Panama City, with drop-off at Colón port at the end of the tour.

To secure your spot, a $25 deposit per person is required via PayPal or credit card. The remaining balance can be paid in US dollars in cash when you meet our guide on the bus.

Cancellation can be made 48 hours before the tour date to get a 100% refund of the deposit. Cancellations made after this period are non-refundable due to operational commitments and advance arrangements required for the service.​​​​​​
