ITINERARY

Your adventure will begin when one of our expert guides will collect you from Amador Cruise Terminal near "LA VIDA ES BELLA" sign. We will drive for about an hour along the canal and Soberania National Park while your guide will share interesting information about Panama and prepare you for your visit with the Emberá people. 

​

Ride a canoe up the Chagres River, walk in the rainforest (depending on weather conditions), and visit a traditional Embera village on a full-day trip from Panama City. Learn about traditional food, culture, and dances on this 7-hour tour, which includes pickup and drop-off at your Panama City hotel. Sit down and watch a dance that depicts Embera’s relationship with the natural world. Before departing the village, shop for traditional handicrafts and souvenirs made by local people.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY:  Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level.

It is a difficult walk, with rocky and difficult paths. Water can go up to your knees. 

(avoid beach sandals, flip flops, or Crocs similars because you will be walking on mud, slippery areas)

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED: Gratuities, Country Sales taxes, and Embera and Park Community fee which is USD 35 per person and can be only paid in US dollar cash.

WHAT TO BRING:  Hat, Cap, Sunglasses, nonslip shoes, bug spray, Light & and comfortable clothes, and cash (USD) for souvenirs or temporary tattoos.

We get back to the port around 3:30 pm.

Cancellation Policy

 

For a full refund, cancel at least 72 hours in advance of the start date of the experience.

​

For a 50% refund, cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the start date of the experience, with no refund after that.

 

Changes can only be made with 24 hours' notice.
